Calvary is supporting 6 students to attend the SFCI Christian Academy School in the Tenderloin District.

In a community often known for violent crime, drug usage, and extreme poverty, City Academy is a safe place for children to grow academically and spiritually. 

Small class sizes allow for individualized academic instruction, ensuring each student has the opportunity to succeed. Our STEAM Resource Center exposes students to the growing fields of science, technology, engineering, art, and math. For students who need additional educational and developmental support, our Social Services Department connects occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, and academic interventionists to students in need. Together, these resources prepare students for competitive careers and help them to break cycles of poverty.
